Liverpool 2-Tottenham 0
Tottenham played in their first ever Champions League final last weekend.
Unfortunately for Spurs, they would lose 2-0 against fellow English outfit Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi got the goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side but neither team looked at their best.
Spurs, in particular, struggled to be clinical in the final 3rd.

Lucas on being benched
While nothing is certain, had Spurs started Lucas Moura in Madrid, the outcome of the game may have been different.
The Brazilian was in from the off in Tottenham’s semi-final second leg vs Ajax.
Lucas would be the hero of that tie scoring all three goals and sending Spurs through to the final.
However, Mauricio Pochettino opted to play Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen vs Liverpool.
When speaking about the final and Pochettino benching him, Lucas stated:
“I was very, very sad. It is normal, I wanted to win. I really thought it was possible.
“I am sad but very proud of my teammates, my team. I think we had a wonderful season. It was not easy to reach the final.
“He [Pochettino] must choose a starting XI, I must respect it. Most importantly, I was ready to play. I was on the bench thinking about what I could do to help the team.
“When I entered, I tried to do the best but it was not possible. It is football, you have to respect the coach.”As quoted by the Evening Standard.
